Perms, Highlights, Relaxers can all damage hair and can burn the scalp. These same treatments can actually damage the root of the hair.

If you felt a tingling on the scalp or your scalp became red shortly after a chemical treatment such perm, highlights, relaxers, hair coloring then you may have had the root or follicle of the hair slightly scarred or burned.

The microscopic hair analysis that we perform can tell us if the root is burned or if the follicle has been damaged. A damaged root will show black marks on the root that are only visible under our high powered microscope.

IF you feel that your hair, scalp or root of the hair as been damaged due to chemical treatments then we strongly suggest a change in the products that you use as well as we recommend that you use emu oil directly applied to the scalp and hair.

Change of Hair Products? Yes!

So many products today are filled with harsh surfactants, these are what cleanse and bubble in the shampoo. These cleansing agents can be very harsh on the scalp and strip the moisture out of the hair.

We strongly suggest products that DO NOT use Sodium Laurel Sulfate and Ammonium Laurel Sulfate.

None of our shampoos and conditioners carry these harsh cleansers. We strongly recommend emu shampoo, silk protein conditioner, emu oil, hair vitamins and emu conditioner for your everyday shampoo and conditioner products.

99.5% of the products on the market today are filled with harsh surafactants. Choose products that will replenish and rejuvenate your hair instead or strip since the chemical treatments are already do that!

Finding out the cause of your hair problem is vital to solving it long-term!

It is estimated that over 20 million American women suffer from hair thinning. Our analysis helps to determine the major causes of hair loss in women. It is important to say that women's hair loss is much more complicated than men's. See the causes below

The Microscopic Analysis can determine these causes:

(click on the link to view the photo)

female hair loss and dht hormones
   •
Women's hair loss and
Sebum build up on the bulb & the shaft

   •
Hair loss associated with
Stress and circulation associated with

emotional and physical stress  and diet problems

   •
Female hair thinning and
Hair nutrition (matrix cell reproduction is

needed for the hair to grow up and out the head)

   •
Hair loss caused by
Deep Dirt  and bacteria on the reproducing

    part of the hairs

The analysis also allows you to find the problem before it becomes noticeable at a scalp level. Remember that the hair grows from the root. 95% of all hair problems are found at the root of the hair. It is important to note that hair is 88% protein which is made up of amino acids. And finally----hair is very fickle!  Locks that becomes imbalanced or deprived can be problematic.

Women that have heavy build up can remove this with products such as Folli-cleanse. Emu shampoo is great for getting  hairs back to the growth phase. Emu products should be part of everybody's hair regimen. Vitamin shampoo and Amino/Protein conditioner can add the vital amino chains back into the hair that deplete with age, chemical processes, hormones and

Our Microscopic Analysis can determine most types of hair loss. We focus on the major causes of hair loss including DHT, malnutrition of the hair, stress and bacteria (dirt and sebum):  orderform

Women also have many secondary causes of hair loss:

Childbirth:

After pregnancy many women suffer from hair thinning. Hormones during pregnancy cause the hair to enter the anagen growth phase but after birth many hairs go to the resting phase. This tends to level out over time. Sometimes if the resting phase does not change products are needed to jump start your hair again.
Contact us about these products such as EMU SHAMPOO.

Discontinuation of Birth Control Pills or Menopause and Menstruation:
Checking your hormone levels can help to determine which female hormones you lack.

Our Microscopic Hair Analysis can typically determine if your hair loss is DHT related which often occurs after the age of 30 in women.

Thyroid Disease:
This can be checked by your doctor

Low Serum Iron:
Women that have heavy menstrual periods or women that do not absorb or intake enough iron can see hair problems. Fad diets can often cause this. Adding iron to your diet typically solves this problem.

The analysis is also good at determining what your hair needs to be its healthiest. Our analysis is similar to a an x-ray or check up for your hair.

Hair Styling Treatments: Changing the appearance of hair using chemicals and dyes, tints, bleaches, straighteners, relaxers and permanent waves is done quite often. Using good products there are hardly any problems seen. However, if the solution is left on too long hair can become weak and brittle. Chemical burns can result in permanent hair loss. Make sure to use reputable products. Chemical burns can be seen in the analysis.

Shampoos such as Keeping the Color and Protein Conditioner can  revitalize, repair and protect treated and colored hair.
